When you go to ea.com to login, it asks for an email address and not a username. Not once duringĭid the process did it ask for my child's email address or age. Once I received the email from EA/Origin, I verified that I was the parent/guardian and that was that.

I then created a username and password for the account and submitted. Would be for a minor (I guess based of the Xbox Live/gamertag info). How do you log into your Child's EA account? When I created the EA account on the Xbox, on the Home Screen of SWB, I was asked to put in my own email address (which is logical) for verification/parental consent purposes, since EA already knew the account EA set it so that when they know the age of the player they prevent minors accounts from playing age restricted content this is to protect them legally.ĮA did not develop Titanfall, it only published it.ĮA owns DICE who developed Battlefront so had to follow EA's guidelines. If that doesn't work, contact EA Support atĪll publishers can do this where you link your Xbox/PlayStation account to their own system for games.

If you want to update the account click EDIT next to "Basic Information" and update the Date of Birth. If that date is less than 13 years old the account can not be used with Battlefront. Once there you will see under BASIC INFORMATION that it has a Date of Birth line (3rd line down). Then click MY ACCOUNT where it shows your name in the top right corner or The EA Account linked to your Xbox profile must be aged 13 or higher to play Battlefront. The section you have referenced above is for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is nothing there saying that EA is blaming Xbox. So, what is the difference? Has EA relaxed the restriction for Titanfall just to keep the servers full?
